What’s in style this November?

November somehow feels like a major change. October is still fall, but November means we are really gearing up for winter.

However, it's not easy to decorate your home. The Halloween decorations come down, but some think it's not quite time to decorate for the Holidays.

The way I see it you have two options, extend fall decor for another month or jump right into winter!

1. Fall in November

It might not look like fall outside anymore, but fall themed decor definitely still works for Thanksgiving!

Think past Halloween and warm colors this year. The Washington Post said, "Instead of the traditional oranges and burgundys, Oliver takes inspiration from the subtle changes of color and texture she sees in the rolling hills and the fading gardens around her 1820 farmhouse." Who says blue can't be a fall color?

2. Here comes winter!

It's perfectly fine to start getting festive right after Halloween – just ask all the Christmas radio stations!

Lots of people are already in the Christmas mood. USA Today reported, "Roughly 40% of consumers begin their holiday shopping before Halloween, according to the National Retail Federation's2019 holiday forecast. Further, a full 19% are "early bird" shoppers who started in September or earlier."

If you don't want to get the tree out just yet, start with a mantle makeover!

Whatever you choose, have fun with it! Decorations are a great way to enhance the mood of the changing seasons each year.
